Well, even after years of hearing this answer...it still hasn't satisfied me. The question has been lying somewhere in my brain all these years...what is the actual distance??? What is it??
And now...finally...after 10+ years...at 3am, sitting in my hotel room watchin tv and sippin on stone cold's fav drink....I've found it!!!
With a little bit of help from Google ofcourse.
The exact distance from Washington DC to Miami beach is 1604 miles.
Which when multiplied by 1.6093 gives 2581.3172 kms!!!
